Governor’s Corner

I finished July and when I got back from the International Convention, I have been very busy. Lion Sheri and I have got to one Governor’s Council Meeting, 2 Banner nights, and I have completed one District Cabinet Meeting. At my Cabinet Meeting, we had many clubs represented and I was able to present my thoughts on Pediatric Cancer and it was well received.

Now we are off again to attend one more Banner night for another District Governor and will be starting my club visits this month (August) so if you club has a date that you would like for me to visit, please call me at my day time number 574-267-3423 or my home number 574-594-5470. If there is no answer, please leave a message on the answering machine.

Concerning membership, there is no magic pill or formula to take. The only way to grow your club is simply to ask your friends, family or co-workers.

Just a word concerning LCIF. They have started a new campaign to raise $300,000,000 in 3 years. It sounds like it is a lot of money, but as Lions once we put our mind to it, we can make it happen. Remember your Club is not alone. There are thousands of clubs around the globe working on this fundraiser for LCIF.
