Governor’s Corner

There is not much time left for me as your Governor. As I took my training to do this job, I have to admit I was not sure what I was getting into. But now I can honestly say it has been very rewarding. I have met some wonderful Lions along the way. Each one of them give more than anyone can ask. They are what makes Lions so great and I have learned of countless programs and things their clubs do in their communities. So I would encourage any Lion to become a Governor. You will never regret it.

Okay, what’s left now is that I am finishing up club visits and still getting the word out concerning pediatric cancer. If your club has not sent a donation in, now is the time. Please send your donation to Cabinet Treasurer PDG Robert Myers so he can track it. He then will forward your donation to LCIF in your club’s name. Let’s destroy this cancer that effects so many of our children.

If your club has not invited a guest to your meeting, now is the time to grow your club. As Lions we need members to help those in need all over the world. So take the message to your new members as you sign them up.

Your new Governor, Mary Klempay, will be needing everyone’s help to have a great year, so lets all get behind her and help. Until I see you down the road, may the good Lord keep you and your family safe in the palm of his hand.
