Governor’s Corner

April is soon coming to a close and May is just around the corner. The grass is growing, trees are leafing out, spring has arrived. Clubs are getting started on their many fundraisers for this summer. It is time to be asking your friends to be a Lion. Recently I visited a club and there were three guests there looking at that club. I asked after the meeting their thoughts and every one of them wanted to join. They told me that they had no idea how much that club did in their community. So if you have not asked someone to come visit your club, NOW IS THE TIME TO ASK!!!

I will be changing hats soon, going from your Governor to becoming a Past District Governor. As I pass the baton to Mary Klempay, your incoming District Governor, I know she will be doing a fine job. She will need your support like you have supported me. So Lions, lets finish this year with more Lions in every club.

We just finished the state convention and it was nice to see everyone there. Hope you took something back to your club to share. My last District Meeting will be May 18th in Warsaw. Please check the flier that is in this month’s newsletter. Love to see you there.
